Our Story

Our love for France runs deep, specifically when it comes to the magical region of the Bassin D'Archachon in the Southwest of France. With summers spent in Cap Ferret, exploring the markets, playing in the sand on the beaches at Le Truc Vert, riding bicycles through the pines and enjoying food and wine with family.

There is something special that you want to bottle up and bring home with you.

Our family, that has long standing generational ties to the region and has been visiting Cap Ferret for over 35 years has enjoyed travelling from Canada to spend time with extended family and soaking up everything this region has to offer.

La Maison Baude was born out of a desire to bring everything we love from France to Canada so everyone can have the opportunity to bring a piece of it into their home.

Our hope is to bring you only the best quality products to get that relaxed french living feel in your everyday life. 

We are David, Katie and Ella Baudequin, the family behind La Maison Baude. Currently residing in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and have been fortunate enough to spend summers enjoying time with family while getting to explore the beautiful country that is France.
